MANO ART GALLERY
The newest contemporary Mexican art gallery in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, MANO takes a unique curatorial approach that preserves and expands upon traditional mythologies and anthropology.
Standing for Mexican Art & Object, MANO exposes international audiences to the diversity of contemporary art and design produced in Mexico, and connects the Mexican-American community with their motherland. They create a unique space for great Mexican artists to be seen and the next generation to emerge.
MANO engaged Murmur Ring for strategic community engagement support, event design, and photography.
Murmur Ring’s work with MANO began with a single day immersion focused on Chicago’s Mexican and emerging arts community. MANO ultimately made contact with numerous community partners and arts leaders in Pilsen, gained access to over 20 recommendations for partnerships, and had introductions to over a dozen arts and culture publications.
Colossal Publication
An international platform for contemporary art and visual expression, Colossal published an article about MANO’s inaugural exhibition on November 22, 2022. With over a million site visitors per month and 522,000 Instagram followers, this press coverage made a significant impact on MANO’s audience reach. Grand Opening
Through collaborative promotion, strategic marketing plan, and event design, Murmur Ring helped MANO welcome over 400 guests to their grand opening event.
